Renovation of the former Nashua YMCA at 17 Prospect Street in Nashua for Southern New Hampshire Health Systems.

Southern New Hampshire Health Systems purchased the property as part of a multi- party transaction that allowed the YMCA to construct a new facility adjacent to Stello’s stadium which they took occupancy of this spring.   The approximately 68,000 sq. ft. facility served as the home for the YMCA since its construction in 1963. The renovated facility will house foot and ankle medicine/surgery, orthopedics, spine & brain center, rheumatology, physical therapy and primary care services.   The project design calls for a complete gut and renovation of the predominantly cast in place concrete structure. A new addition constructed along the West end of the building includes waiting areas, elevators and circulation core punctuated by a prominent entrance canopy.

Fulcrum Associates of Amherst partnered with Dennis Mires The Architects P.A. of Manchester for the project, site engineering was prepared by Hayner & Swanson of Nashua.
