The project consisted of the wholesale renovation of the oncology wing within the Hospital. Updates to patient treatment areas and administrative space as well as on site lab and high purity rooms. The renovation took place in a series of five phases, the initial phase consisted with the patient facing component of the project. Our goal was to focus on how to mitigate any impact to patient care. The facility remained open and fully operational during construction. Executing the work required a highly defined ICRA and PCRA plan which was maintained through all phases of construction. A new high purity lab space with dedicated exhaust was constructed as one of the phases of the work. Diligent schedule management and coordination was required as work was completed during both regular and off hours to accommodate any invasive work performed in the adjacent areas.
