Fulcrum Associates successfully completed the transformative renovation and expansion of Wakefield Thermal’s Exeter, NH facility. This project involved both a 68,000-square-foot renovation and a 40,000-square-foot expansion, showcasing a substantial leap in aluminum brazing capabilities tailored for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
The facility now features expanded production spaces and upgraded office areas, designed to optimize operational efficiency and meet the growing demands of Wakefield Thermal’s global clientele. The building envelope was enhanced for energy efficiency, and new epoxy flooring was installed to meet the stringent requirements of the thermal management industry. Throughout the project, Fulcrum maintained seamless coordination with Wakefield’s operations to minimize disruptions and ensure the facility remained fully functional.
Key milestones included exterior façade enhancements, the integration of new equipment, and ultimately receiving the Certificate of Occupancy, signaling the project’s successful completion. The collaboration with design partners, including AHP Architects, Fitzemeyer & Tocci (MEP Engineer), Goldstein Milano LLC (Structural Engineer), and TFMoran (Civil Engineer), helped ensure that the project met the highest standards of quality and performance.
