YMCA Pleasant Valley Camp

The YMCA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Nestled in the serene embrace of nature, YMCA Pleasant Valley Camp serves as an exemplary extension of the YMCA of Greater Boston. Dedicated to fostering bright futures, eliminating hunger, enhancing community health, breaking down barriers to stability, and championing equity for all, this camp embodies the profound impact of its programs and philosophy on children and families alike.

YMCA Pleasant Valley Camp offers a diverse array of enriching activities that make every day an adventure. Campers can immerse themselves in the thrill of kayaking, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, and waterskiing, honing their skills and building confidence on the camp’s sparkling lake. For those who prefer land-based sports, soccer, tennis, and archery provide perfect opportunities to cultivate teamwork and precision.

Fulcrums project team will be providing upgrades and renovations to YMCA at their Pleasant Valley Camp location in Tuftonboro, NH.

Project Recap

Fulcrum President Daryl Luter had the honor of attending the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the expansion of Mac Hall at the YMCA of Greater Boston Pleasant Valley Campground in Tuftonboro, NH! This meaningful project allows the entire girls’ camp to dine together on the same floor, fostering the strong sense of community central to the camp experience. The expansion also includes new bathrooms, ADA ramp access, and fire suppression systems, highlighting the camp’s commitment to camper well-being.

A special thank you to the YMCA Team, Market Square Architects, Scalora Consulting Group, Trillium Engineering Group, AKF Group, BSC Group, and the numerous subcontractors who generously donated labor and materials. Through our collaboration, Fulcrum secured approximately $75,000 in donations for this project. We’re proud to have played a role in bringing this vision to life with the YMCA of Greater Boston.
