Fulcrum Associates completed the renovation of a historic 1908 brick building adjacent to Valley Regional Hospital’s medical office complex, transforming it into modern temporary housing for traveling medical staff. This project replaced the outdated housing across the street, paving the way for a new state-of-the-art medical office building on that site.
As General Contractor, Fulcrum managed significant demolition and full modernization of the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The scope of work included the installation of new kitchens, bathrooms, finishes, and energy-efficient doors and windows. To further enhance usability, a new ADA-compliant entryway was added, ensuring accessibility for all residents.
Throughout the project, Fulcrum balanced modernization with preservation, maintaining the historic charm of the original structure while delivering high-quality, functional living spaces. This effort not only supports the well-being of medical staff but also strengthens the hospital’s ability to serve its patients and community.
