Six New Team Members Hired in Response to Continued Growth

Fulcrum Associates, a leading construction management firm in southern New Hampshire, recently made a series of strategic hires to support the company’s continued steady growth and specifically to support several large-scale projects throughout New England. Fulcrum hired six new project managers and superintendents to support Fulcrum’s current project roster, which includes multi-family, clinical and imaging facilities, hospitality and institutional facilities with a project scope ranging between $1 million to $100 million dollars.

Patrick Madden, from Lynn, Massachusetts, joined Fulcrum in October as a Superintendent. Madden’s project highlights from recent years include multi-family, mixed-use residential-retail space and commercial properties throughout Massachusetts with Manzella Contracting in Newton, Massachusetts, The Hanover Company in Houston, Texas, and Callahan Construction Managers in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Madden is OSHA 10 certified and holds his Massachusetts Construction Supervisor (unrestricted) license. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Associate Degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Madden is currently working on a multi-family project in Salem, Massachusetts.

Chris Gagnon, from Milford, New Hampshire, joined Fulcrum in September as a Project Manager. Gagnon possesses more than 20 years of commercial and residential construction experience handling projects up to $30 million in scale. Gagnon’s recent experience includes project management with TruLine Construction, Corp. in Amherst, New Hampshire, ROK Builders/Roedel Companies in Wilton, New Hampshire, and Senate Construction Corp. in Shirley, Massachusetts. Gagnon holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Management from Franklin Pierce University. Gagnon is currently working on a multi-family project in Dover, New Hampshire.

Matthew Proulx, from Bedford, New Hampshire, joined Fulcrum in October as an Assistant Project Manager. Proulx has more than 13 years of project management experience, most recently with NorthPoint Construction in Hudson, New Hampshire, and Procon Construction in Hooksett, New Hampshire. Proulx is certified with OSHA 10 and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Construction Quality Management for Contactors. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Proulx is currently working on a multi-family project in Salem, Massachusetts.

Amanda Sargent, from Brookline, New Hampshire, joined Fulcrum in September as an Assistant Project Manager. Sargent joined Fulcrum after seven years of administration, sales and production management experience with Bingham Lumber. Sargent earned her Bachelor of Science from Southern New Hampshire University with a focus on Business Studies in Operations and Project Management. Sargent is currently working on the construction of T-Bones in Concord, New Hampshire, and an auto dealership renovation project in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Marcus Swedberg, from Auburn, New Hampshire, joined Fulcrum in October as an Assistant Project Manager. Swedberg started his construction career through internships, while earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College. Swedberg joined Fulcrum after nearly four years as a Project Engineer at Methuen Construction Company, Inc. in Plaistow, New Hampshire. Swedberg’s certifications include OSHA 10 and OSHA 30, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Construction Quality Management for Contactors, and Procore Associate. Swedberg is currently working on the renovation of specialty defense facilities in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Patricia Dwyer, from Nashua, New Hampshire, is currently a Contract Administrator and joined the Fulcrum team over the summer. Dwyer’s previous experience includes various project administrator positions with Schroeder Construction Management, Inc. in Nashua, New Hampshire and Gemini Electric, Inc. in Auburn, New Hampshire, and more. Dwyer’s primary roles include contract work, commitment details, insurance certificates, Procore systems and more. Dwyer earned her Associate of Science from Hesser College.

New hires take part in all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, supervising on-site personnel and subcontractors, interfacing with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials and clients, coordinating project workflow and maintaining high standards of workmanship that adhere to original project plans and specifications.
