This new medical office building is an ongoing commitment by New London Hospital to provide continuing primary care and ancillary services to Newport residents. The project was logistically challenging due to several factors. The initial phase required demolition of an attached structure while maintaining full functionality of the existing medical center. Then, construction on the new medical center began, which was within ten feet of the existing medical center. Upon completion and move-in to the new facility, pictured above, Fulcrum carefully coordinated site logistics to ensure plenty of parking, and to enable patients and families to safely access the new building while Fulcrum demolished the old medical center.
The health center offers primary care, pediatrics, women’s health care, podiatry, occupational health, imaging, laboratory, mental health and rehabilitative services.
